"MORE NEW ROVER P4 SPECIALIST PARTS"
Here we have a (HAND MADE) blank - reflector it has been made to be fixed onto the to top face of the Lower part of the reflector-stop & tail lamps. (As listing photos show) It stops the light from the side lamp bulb bleeding into the orange flasher lamp lens & also works the other way. From the orange indicator bulb into the stop & tail part of the rear lamp.
With both age & use the original clip on metal cover plate becomes discoloured & very rusty or even missing completely.
We have also used this stick on reflector directly onto the metal plate & it works as well if not better. Please make the all SURFACES are thoroughly cleaned before the new reflector is fixed in place.
Both Rover & Lucas fitted this plate when the lamps were new but we have not been able to trace a part number.
Its shown in the parts book as of the bulb holder although its separate part altogether.
